CES 2025 is in full swing and we’ve seen EVERYTHING. From next-level scam detectors and futuristic rollable laptops to car audio so good it’ll make you cry (happy tears, of course), this year’s show continues to deliver memorable moments and gob-smacking glimpses of next-gen gadgets. Throw in AI-powered lawnmowers and vacuums that feel plucked straight out of The Jetsons, and you’ve got a glimpse of the tech-driven future. Before the curtains close on this year’s ultimate gadget fest, let’s dive into more highlights and overarching themes:

IN A WORLD OF NEW AI SCAMS, WHO’S WATCHING OUT FOR US?

AI is advancing at an incredible pace. The tech leaders here at CES 2025 are all-in on an AI-driven future brimming with real-world robots, self-driving cars, and AI agents so advanced they’ll make Siri seem like an old dial-up telephone. But in this brave new world, who’s got our back? McAfee just unveiled a new Scam Detector service here. It works nonstop in the background of your devices, analyzing emails, texts, and videos to identify and flag potential scams in real-time. It sends instant notifications to say, “Hey, don’t respond to that one—here’s why and how to protect yourself in the future.”

This all makes a lot of sense since the average American gets a dozen scam messages every single day and loses an average of nearly $1,400 to online scams.  All this advanced AI that empowers so much good also emboldens the bad guys too.

Already available on select AI-powered PCs, with even more features rolling out this spring!

Availability: Soon, McAfee Scam Detector will be included in all McAfee+, McAfee Total  Protection, and McAfee LiveSafe plans at no extra cost.

SHOWSTOPPER: LENOVO’S ROLL-UP LAPTOP SCREEN

Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is a game-changer. With the touch of a button, the screen extends upward, adding an extra 2.7 inches and transforming from 14 inches to 16.7 inches—a 50% increase in scrollable space. It’s like having a second screen seamlessly built into your go-anywhere gadget, one that glides back down and tucks behind the keyboard when you’re done. It makes perfect sense: with the web increasingly designed for tall, narrow smartphone screens, giving a laptop a taller display is a no-brainer. Spreadsheets, news websites, business documents, or multitasking with dual screens—all made easier with this versatile display.

Expected to launch early this year with a price tag of around $3,500.

SURROUND SOUND YOU CAN TAKE WITH YOU:

Best car sound systems CES 2025

One major highlight of CES 2025 was experiencing Dolby Atmos sound in the new Cadillac Optiq Electric SUV. It felt like stepping into a professional studio—and now it’s coming to a vehicle near you. Seriously, this blew us away. Imagine hearing parts of your favorite songs in ways you’ve never experienced before. Absolutely magical.

The average American spends nearly 40,000 hours driving in their lifetime, making the car the number one place most people listen to music. Dolby Atmos transforms that experience, making you fall in love with music all over again (and maybe even your daily commute). Make sure it’s a must-have feature in your next ride.

And speaking of smart robots, one of our all time robot vac favorites, Narwhal, just unveiled its new flagship botvac, the Flow. This innovative cleaner gets closer to walls and corners thanks to a track-driven mop pad that extends to reach edges. It also features dual water tanks to keep the mop clean and remove dirty water as it works.

The Flow comes equipped with an anti-tangle side brush for tackling corners and a brush cover that sits closer to the ground, boosting suction on surfaces like carpets. Launching this June, it’s priced at just under $1,700.

Price: $1699.99
