Our last day of CES 2024 was a whirlwind—no, a tornado of new gadgets. We sat in robot massage chairs, examined a flying taxi, looked at each other through transparent televisions and walked elbow to elbow with the tech-curious from all corners of the planet…and AI continued to take center stage.
After attending this year’s conference, one thing is for certain, now that AI powers our gadgets nothing will ever be the same. The devices we saw here feel smarter, more personalized and more personality-filled than ever before.
Did we think robots were the future of bartending? Well, maybe we did, but today we experienced that future…and it was really cool.
Here are a few of the most fun and life-enhancing gadgets we found while roaming the unbelievably massive Las Vegas Convention Center on our last day at CES.
MEET LG’S NEW SEE-THROUGH TV:
LG’s Signature OLED T is the 4K 77-see-through TV is the talk of CES 2024. It’s transparent, as in you can see right through it…even when there’s something ON the screen. The OLED T uses shading technology, creating a dual viewing experience that transitions from transparent to opaque with the click of a button. It’s also wireless, thanks to LG’s Zero Connect technology we first showed you here last year. The OLED T creates an immersive viewing experience powered by an AI processor and provides a 70 percent boost in graphic performance. LG says they expect it out later this year, no word yet on pricing.
IS IT A TABLET? IS IT LAPTOP? BOTH!?
We saw two new gadgets at CES 2024 from Lenovo on our last day that really WOWED us so we are including them both.
The Lenovo’s Magic Bay Studio:
The Lenovo’s Magic Bay Studio is a cutting-edge 4K webcam with integrated speakers. It pops on and off with powerful connector pins. Lenovo also showed us some super cool proof-of-concept ideas: a fan, an LED “beauty light,” and our favorite—a little robot companion. The webcam comes out in April. We hope the others aren’t far behind!
Price: $200
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 5-Detachable-Hybrid:
Lenovo created a real showstopper with the ThinkBook Plus Gen 5-Detachable-Hybrid. It’s a full Windows PC and a full Android tablet. Together, these two pieces create a high-end new AI laptop. Lenovo designed the screen to lift up and off, transforming it into an awesome upgraded Android tablet and a full Windows PC that you can use with another screen. We love a good two-for-the-price-of-one! Expect to see it out later this year for less than $2,000.
AN AI-POWERED E-BIKE:
Urtopia’s new Carbon 1Pro e-Bike is another just completely next-level upgrade with onboard AI, a ChatGPT assistant, and LTE connectivity for adventures on the road and off. A rider uses voice control for both lights and speed. What else is cool? The bike senses your riding environment and automatically manages the level of assistance you need. Its sensors predict angles and manage the level of assistance. And it can hit speeds of over 60 miles on a single charge. At just 37 pounds, it’s super light for an e-bike. Plus it gets smarter and more personalized over time too. It’s the exact kind of biking buddy most of us need. Out after March this year.
Price: $2500 ($500 off the normal retail price during pre-sale)
A MINI GADGET WITH A MAJOR IMPACT:
Shelly’s quarter-size Mini Gen 3 makes any standard wall switch or socket smart. What’s even better? They take less than ten minutes to set up and take up minimal space. Seriously, we haven’t seen relays much smaller. Use them to add instant automation to everything from lights to garage doors to irrigation systems. Install them in your home and give yourself the ability to control your appliances from anywhere in the world through an app on your mobile device. They make retrofitting easy and affordable. And they work well with most existing smart ecosystems.

THIS ROBOT BARTENDER WANTS TO MAKE YOU A DRINK:
The Barsys 360 cocktail maker is THE automated mixologist of the future. It crafts fresh cocktails at the tap of a Bluetooth-connected app. To use it, pour your favorite spirits, juices, or drink add-ons like simple syrup into one of the six compartments at the top. Then, tell it how to make your favorite drink…or for days you feel adventurous, ask it to suggest something new. Once you make your choice, it does all the work for you.
